The main responsible person of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission stated at the meeting that border areas are continuously building a modern industrial system that is diverse, complementary, and coordinated by cultivating characteristic industries, activating emerging industries, and upgrading traditional industries, which drives employment and income growth for people in border areas, with the rapid development of border tourism, cross-border tourism, and ice and snow tourism.
