Elizabeth Warren Marks 100 Days Of Trump By Reading Aloud 100 Reports Of His Corruption

Senator Elizabeth Warren plans to mark 100 days of Donald Trump's second presidency by reading 100 reports of alleged corruption into the congressional record. In her speech, she will highlight instances where Trump is accused of using the presidency for personal gain, including turning the White House into a Tesla dealership and facilitating access to his administration for financial gain. Warren's remarks aim to emphasize what she describes as Trump's failure to fulfill his promises and his administration's corruption.
WASHINGTON – Donald Trump is 100 days into his second presidency, and to mark the occasion, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) plans to read into the congressional record what she says are 100cases ofTrump using the presidency to personally benefit himself and his allies.
“One hundred days, one hundred acts of corruption,” Warren will say in a Tuesday night speech on the Senate floor. HuffPost obtained a copy of her planned remarks.
“When he ran for office, Trump promised repeatedly that he would lower costs ‘on day 1,’” reads her speech. “But instead of following through on his promise, Trump and his administration have paved the way for the president, his top officials, and his billionaire buddies to personally feed at the trough of government corruption.”
“So, count with me,” Warren plans to say before launching into a list of 100 things she says Trump has done to enrich himself and punish his perceived political enemies.
Among other things, the Massachusetts senator will call out Trump for turning the White House into a Tesla dealership; paying for the White House Easter Egg Roll via corporate sponsors with business before the government; punishing former U.S. officials who called out his lies about the 2020 election; helping his son set up a club where people can pay $500,000 for access to Trump’s Cabinet members; hosting million-dollar dinners between Big Pharma CEOs and their regulator, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.; and launching a crypto memecoin right before his inauguration to make millions of dollars and then following up by offering to have an “intimate dinner” with whoever spends the most on his memecoin.
A White House spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Warren is expected to begin reading all of this into the congressional record around 8:15 p.m. Eastern. Here’s a copy of her prepared remarks, which include her 100 examples of Trump’s corruption.
