
Shell Reports Lower Q1 Attributable Income, Revenue

Shell said Friday its income and revenue decreased year over year in the first quarter. Income attributable to shareholders for the three months ended March 31 was $4.78 billion, compared with $7.36 billion earlier. EPS moved to $0.79 from $1.13. The oil and gas company's revenue was $69.23 billion, compared with $72.48 billion a year ago. Meanwhile, the board declared a dividend of $0.3580 per share for the period. It paid $0.3440 per share a year ago.
