
U.S. CFTC: Gold net long positions hit a new low in about 14 months
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC): For the week ending April 29, speculators' net long positions in COMEX gold decreased by 9,857 contracts to 115,865 contracts, marking a new low in about 14 months.
Net long positions in COMEX silver increased to 31,252 contracts, reaching a four-week high.
Net long positions in COMEX copper increased to 20,013 contracts, reaching a four-week high.
Net short positions in NYMEX platinum decreased to 2,183 contracts.
Net short positions in NYMEX palladium increased to 13,619 contracts, reaching a new high in about eight months
