Recently, with the disclosure of the 2024 annual reports of the securities industry on the website of the China Securities Association, the performance of foreign-funded securities firms for 2024 has been fully revealed. Overall, the operating income of foreign-funded securities firms in 2024 has increased compared to 2023. From the performance of various well-known foreign-funded securities firms, Goldman Sachs leads the industry with a net profit increase of 158% to 498 million yuan in 2024; JPMorgan Chase Securities achieved a net profit of 259 million yuan last year, with both firms achieving over 100% year-on-year growth in net profit for 2024. UBS Securities achieved a net profit of 150 million yuan in 2024, a significant increase of 693% compared to 2023. Morgan Stanley Securities reported a profit of 18 million yuan in 2024, turning a profit compared to a loss in 2023. However, there are still many foreign-funded securities firms that reported losses in 2024, including Nomura Orient International Securities, Daiwa Securities, Credit Suisse Securities, DBS Securities, Standard Chartered Securities, and others
