GameStop sells its Canadian store operations

Video game retailer GameStop (GME.US) announced on Monday that it has sold its Canadian store operations to toy merchant Stephan Tetrault, with specific terms yet to be disclosed.

GameStop operates 185 stores in Canada, and the company will be renamed EB Games Canada, which was the name used by GameStop before its rebranding in 2021
