Amazon (AMZN.US) had a Zoox autonomous taxi involved in a collision with a private car on April 8 in Las Vegas. Zoox has agreed to recall 270 autonomous vehicles to update the software.
Zoox stated that the autonomous taxi collided with a private car, and no one was injured in the incident. Zoox will suspend operations for several days while awaiting the completion of a safety review of the event and will update the software to prevent similar incidents in the future
