5 月 7 日，沃爾沃汽車發佈全新混動架構 SMA。該架構將與沃爾沃純電架構 SPA2 並進，以雙動力模式推動沃爾沃向電氣化轉型。SMA 架構車型尺寸覆蓋中型至大型車，動力組合覆蓋兩驅和四驅。基於 SMA 架構的首款混動車型 XC70 將在 9 月上市，定位中大型 SUV，CLTC 標準工況下純電續航達到 200 公里以上，價格預計為 40 至 50 萬元。
