Alibaba's Eddie Wu calls on employees to return to their original intentions and focus on core business development

Tomorrow (10th) marks the 22nd anniversary of Alibaba's (09988.HK)(BABA.US) platform Taobao, and it is also the group's annual "Ali Day." According to domestic media reports, Alibaba's CEO Eddie Wu sent an internal letter to employees, stating that a new era of global technological waves is beginning, and Alibaba must let go of past achievements and return to its entrepreneurial roots, urging employees to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset for the new journey ahead.

He also mentioned that the group has actively transformed over the past two years, refocusing and reorganizing its business direction around the main strategy of "user-first, AI-driven." In the future, the group will concentrate on the development of several core businesses with a "saturation investment" approach, valuing long-term and overall value rather than short-term localized value
