Pony AI Q1 2025 financial report: Robotaxi revenue increased by 200% year-on-year, fleet size to reach 1,000 vehicles by the end of the year
On May 20th, Pony AI released its financial report for the first quarter of 2025. The report shows that total revenue for the first quarter was 102 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12%. Revenue from the Robotaxi business reached 12.3 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 200%, with passenger fare revenue increasing by 800% year-on-year. Pony AI is fully promoting the mass production of Robotaxis, with the fleet size expected to reach 1,000 vehicles by the end of 2025. Previously, Pony AI's seventh-generation Robotaxi and autonomous driving system were released, featuring three highlights: 100% automotive-grade components, a 70% reduction in total cost of the autonomous driving kit compared to the previous generation, and a platform-based adaptable design. In April of this year, Pony AI announced it would integrate with the "Mobility Services" entry within WeChat and Tencent Maps, and in May, it reached a strategic cooperation with ride-hailing giant Uber. With the support of top domestic and international platforms, Pony AI will reach over one billion users
