Voyah FREE+ will start pre-sales in June. Lu Fang: Firmly opposes "price wars."
On May 31, at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show, the Aito FREE+ was opened to the public for the first time, with pre-sales expected to start in June. Aito CEO Lu Fang also expressed the company's stance on the "price war" in an interview with reporters. "Aito firmly opposes price wars and will not participate in them," Lu Fang stated. He emphasized that car manufacturers should drive improvements in research and development, production, and management efficiency through technological innovation, and then reduce manufacturing costs through these improvements, rather than through cutting corners or non-technological advancements that lead to price changes. Lu Fang called for the industry to return to rationality. "Every car manufacturer should maintain strategic determination, continuously innovate through technology, and reduce costs through management improvements, ultimately passing the benefits on to consumers," Lu Fang said. "We hope the automotive industry can develop healthily, and everyone should protect the hard-won achievements of the industry's development to date."
