The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stated on Wednesday that it is currently not considering lifting the production limit of 38 Boeing (BA.US) 737 MAX aircraft per month.

Acting Administrator Chris Rocheleau pointed out that it is not feasible at this time and further stated that there will be no discussion about changing the agency's inspection policy for all Boeing aircraft.

Boeing CEO David Calhoun expressed last week that he is very confident in increasing the production of its best-selling 737 MAX aircraft to 42 units per month
