According to Diandian data, in May 2025, the estimated total downloads of global AI apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play reached 280 million, a decrease of 16.4% compared to April. Among them, ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Doubao, and PixVerse ranked in the TOP 5, accounting for 51% of the global market's dual-end AI application downloads. Specifically, the download share of ChatGPT further increased from 27% in April to 32% in May, while the download shares of the other four applications were relatively similar. Genius, which ranked fourth in April, fell out of the top five in May, replaced by PixVerse, which had dropped off the list in April, now ranking fifth in May, while Doubao moved up one place to become fourth
