Data from the Trip.com platform under the group shows that from July to August this year, the overall outbound tourism hotel bookings increased compared to the same period last year, and flight booking data reflects that short-haul destinations in Asia, such as Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, South Korea, and Southeast Asia, continue to be the top choices for Hong Kong residents. In recent months, concerts by artists such as Ayumi Hamasaki and Jay Chou, as well as the 20th anniversary celebration of Hong Kong Disneyland, have benefited from the government's promotion of event-driven economy, resulting in a 25% year-on-year increase in ticket bookings on the platform during this period.
