Russian Foreign Trade Bank: Foreign investors did not participate in IPO transactions in the Russian stock market
Vitaly Sergeychuk, a member of the board of directors of Vnesheconombank, stated in an interview during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum that foreign investors have not actually participated in IPO transactions in the Russian stock market, but there are signs that foreign investors are regaining interest in private transactions. He pointed out: "Under the current conditions, foreign investors are almost not participating in IPO transactions in the Russian market. Changes in the geopolitical situation and the normalization of the external environment may change this situation. Currently, Russian institutional investors and retail investors are still the main participants in IPO transactions."
