Six departments jointly issued the "Announcement on the Management of 4-Piperidone and 1-Tert-Butoxycarbonyl-4-Piperidone as Controlled Chemicals"

In order to strictly manage precursor chemicals and prevent their loss for drug production, with the approval of the State Council, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Commerce, the National Health Commission, the Ministry of Emergency Management, the General Administration of Customs, and the National Medical Products Administration jointly issued an announcement on June 20, 2025, listing 4-piperidone and 1-tert-butoxycarbonyl-4-piperidone in the appendix of the "Regulations on the Management of Precursor Chemicals" under the "Classification and Catalog of Precursor Chemicals" for regulation. The announcement will take effect on July 20, 2025.
