Roche Pharmaceuticals rents a property in Central Plaza, Wan Chai for a monthly rent of HKD 405,000

According to comprehensive media reports, Swiss multinational company Roche recently leased a unit with an area of approximately 9,000 square feet on a mid-low floor of Central Plaza in Wan Chai, with a monthly rent of about HKD 405,000 and a rent per square foot of about HKD 45, which is at market level.

According to records, Roche has changed office locations multiple times since 2011. The company previously rented the entire floor of Lee Garden Three in Causeway Bay in 2011, with an area of 15,000 square feet, and later moved to East Kowloon, leasing the entire floor of the Chow Tai Fook Insurance Centre in Kowloon Bay, expanding the floor area to 16,000 square feet. This time returning to the Hong Kong Island area, although the leased floor area has decreased, it is expected to save on rental expenses, representing an upgrade relocation
