The latest data released by the China Coal Industry Association shows that in the first five months, the country produced a total of 1.99 billion tons of raw coal, providing solid support for energy supply during the peak summer season. According to the China Coal Industry Association, in the first five months, the total production of raw coal reached 1.99 billion tons, an increase of 110 million tons year-on-year, setting a historical high for the same period. Cumulative coal imports were 189 million tons, a decrease of 7.9%. As of June 16, the association's key monitored coal mines had coal stocks of 35.96 million tons, an increase of 0.5% compared to the end of May; coal stocks at ports around the Bohai Sea were 28.55 million tons, a decrease of 5.5% compared to the end of May; and nationwide power plant inventories were approximately 21 million tons in mid-June, an increase of about 3 million tons compared to the end of May, sufficient for about 35 days
