The ISO international standard for autonomous driving test scenario evaluation and test case generation, led by China, has been officially released

Recently, the international standard ISO 34505:2025 "Road Vehicles - Automated Driving System Testing Scenarios - Scenario Evaluation and Test Case Generation," led by China, was officially released. The newly released international standard mainly stipulates the evaluation process and testing methods for automated driving system testing scenarios, clarifying the determination requirements for evaluation indicators such as exposure rate, complexity, and danger level of testing scenarios, and defining general methods for test case generation and their necessary characteristics. In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will organize units such as the China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd. to deeply participate in the formulation and revision of international standards in the automotive field, continuously enhancing China's participation and contribution in the coordination of international standards and regulations in the automotive sector
