
Biotechnology ETFs rose over 1.6%, leading the U.S. stock industry ETFs alongside healthcare ETFs, while semiconductor ETFs fell over 0.5%
On Wednesday (July 16), the biotechnology index ETF rose by 1.65%, the healthcare ETF increased by 1.24%, the regional bank ETF, financial sector ETF, and banking sector ETF rose by up to 0.88%, while the technology sector ETF, global technology stock index ETF, consumer discretionary ETF, and internet stock index ETF rose by up to 0.31%. The semiconductor ETF fell by 0.52%, and the energy sector ETF decreased by 0.86%.
Among chip concept stocks, ASML ADR fell by 8.33%, Nova dropped by 3.65%, ASM International ADR declined by 3.25%, Micron Tech decreased by 3.06%, Wolfspeed, Applied Materials, and Marvell Technology fell by up to 2.58%, and Nexperia Semiconductor dropped by 1.28%.
ON Semiconductor rose by 1%, STMicroelectronics ADR increased by 1.11%, Nvidia supplier Amphenol rose by 1.12%, ASE Technology ADR increased by 1.36%, Coherent Inc. rose by 1.82%, AMD rose by 2.87%, Rambus increased by 3.5%, and Arm Holdings rose by 4.62%
