Amazon will offer OpenAI models to customers for the first time

After OpenAI announced the new "open weights" model on Tuesday, Amazon (AMZN.US) plans to offer customers OpenAI's brand new open artificial intelligence model.

Amazon stated that it will provide tools on its Bedrock and Sagemaker platforms, adding that the platform's advanced reasoning capabilities make it very suitable for AI agents.

CEO Andy Jassy positions Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a supermarket for selling a variety of artificial intelligence tools to businesses. The company's Bedrock software platform is designed to make it easier for businesses to access large language models from other companies as well as Amazon's own models
