
44 companies received QFII holdings, with 3 new QFII companies having a book profit exceeding 49 million yuan
The disclosure of the 2025 semi-annual reports has begun, revealing the institutional holding trends of listed companies, with a particular focus on the holdings of Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (QFII). According to statistics, as of 10 PM on August 8, 2025, among the more than 170 companies that have disclosed their 2025 semi-annual reports, 44 companies have QFII holdings. As of June 30, 2025, the total number of shares held by QFII in these 44 companies exceeded 270 million shares, an increase of over 260,000 shares compared to the previous period; the market value of these holdings approached 4.8 billion yuan, an increase of over 700 million yuan compared to the previous period. How are the holding returns? Taking companies that received new QFII holdings as of the second quarter of this year as a sample, we compared the latest closing prices with the average transaction prices of the second quarter of this year to estimate the holding returns based on the number of shares held. The results show that the paper profits of UBS Group, Barclays, and Morgan Stanley International Holdings exceeded 49 million yuan each
