In terms of news, on August 15, Hesai announced its unaudited financial data for the second quarter of 2025. In the second quarter, Hesai achieved revenue of 710 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 53.9%, with net profit exceeding 40 million yuan, far surpassing the GAAP profitability target. At the same time, Hesai secured a new designated model for a joint brand under Toyota, with plans for mass production in 2026.
In the second quarter, Hesai's total LiDAR delivery reached 352,095 units, a year-on-year increase of 306.9%, continuing its rapid growth trend. Among them, the delivery of ADAS products was 303,564 units, a year-on-year increase of 275.8%. The delivery of products in the robotics field reached 48,531 units, a significant year-on-year increase of 743.6%. In the first six months of 2025, Hesai's total LiDAR delivery reached 547,913 units, a year-on-year increase of 276.2%, surpassing the total for 2024.
In the ADAS field, Hesai's LiDAR has become a standard safety feature for assisted driving, supporting the launch of several popular models. In the second quarter and recently, it secured 20 models from 9 leading automakers, with plans for delivery from 2025 to 2026, including core clients such as Geely, Great Wall Motors, and Changan Automobile, one of Hesai's top two clients. In the robotics field, the Hesai JT series surpassed 100,000 units in cumulative delivery in less than 5 months since its launch, setting a global record for the fastest delivery
