CIRC: The radiation source research and production base has successfully obtained the radiation safety license

The radiation source research and production base of Sichuan Zhonghe Tongyuan Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CIRC, has successfully obtained a radiation safety license and is qualified for the production and sale of radiation sources. This base is the largest in Asia, with an annual production of over 100,000 radiation sources, providing high-quality radiation source products of 70 types of nuclides, serving industries such as agriculture, medicine, and more. In the future, it will promote the second phase of construction to expand production capacity and add multiple radiation source production lines to meet market demand
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, China CIRC (01763) announced that recently, its subsidiary Sichuan Zhonghe Tongyuan Technology Co., Ltd.'s radiation source R&D and production base "the project" successfully obtained the radiation safety license, officially qualifying for the production and sales of radiation sources and related qualifications, with products gradually entering the market.
This project is the largest radiation source R&D and production base in Asia, with the construction of 13 production lines for radiation sources, including carbon-14 sources and krypton-85 sources. Once completed, the annual production of radiation sources will exceed 100,000 units. China CIRC will gather the R&D and production resources of major domestic radiation sources, providing high-quality radiation source products of over 70 types of nuclides to both domestic and international markets, and offering services for the reuse of radiation source resources, irradiation services, etc., making a positive contribution to the application of radiation technology in industries such as agriculture, medicine, national defense, and aerospace in China.
In the future, China CIRC will promote the second phase of the project with high standards, further expand production capacity, enrich the product spectrum, and plans to add production lines for radiation sources such as californium-252, cesium-137, and americium-241 to fully meet the diversified market demands
