Eternity INV expects the mid-term loss attributable to shareholders to decrease by approximately 61% to 66%
ETERNITY INV expects that the mid-term loss attributable to shareholders for the period ending June 30, 2025, will decrease by approximately 61% to 66%, compared to HKD 128 million for the same period in 2024. The main reasons are that there is no recognition of goodwill impairment loss of HKD 45.6 million during this period, and a gain of HKD 7.8 million from changes in the fair value of financial assets, while there was a loss of HKD 19.4 million for the same period in 2024
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, ETERNITY INV (00764) announced that the expected loss attributable to the company's owners for the six months ending June 30, 2025, will decrease by approximately 61% to 66% compared to a loss of HKD 128 million for the same period in 2024. This significant reduction is mainly due to the absence of goodwill impairment losses of HKD 45.6 million recognized in the same period of 2024; and a gain of HKD 7.8 million from the fair value changes of financial assets recognized in the profit and loss statement, whereas the group incurred a loss of HKD 19.4 million in the same period of 2024
