According to the Zhitong Finance APP, CHANJET (01588) announced its performance for the six months ending June 30, 2025, with revenue of 483 million yuan (RMB, the same below), a year-on-year increase of 6.7%; net profit of 33.513 million yuan, compared to a loss of 9.879 million yuan in the same period last year; basic earnings per share of 10.5 cents.
During the reporting period, the group turned a loss into a profit compared to the same period last year, mainly due to (i) the group's firm implementation of the long-term strategy prioritizing cloud service business and subscriptions, with revenue and gross profit continuing to grow; (ii) the group's adherence to efficient operations, with R&D costs, sales and distribution expenses, and management expenses accounting for a lower proportion of revenue compared to the same period last year; (iii) this period's fair value gains from non-listed equity investments recognized in profit or loss amounted to 7.94 million yuan, while the same period last year recorded fair value losses of 9.82 million yuan
