"Cathy Wood" increases investment in the cryptocurrency industry, adding to positions in Bitmine Immersion and Bullish
Ark Invest increased its holdings in Bitmine Immersion Technologies and Bullish, with the former focusing on Ethereum mining and the latter operating a digital asset exchange. On September 5th, Ark Invest increased its holdings by a total of 387,000 shares of Bitmine through multiple funds, valued at approximately $16.27 million, bringing its total investment to $283.57 million, while also purchasing about 144,000 shares of Bullish stock, valued at approximately $7.5 million. In contrast, Ark Invest reduced its investments in DraftKings, Teradyne, Roku, Roblox, and FUTU Holdings
According to Zhitong Finance APP, Ark Invest, the investment management company led by renowned fund manager Cathie Wood, has increased its holdings in Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR.US) and Bullish (BLSH.US). The former focuses on Ethereum mining and cryptocurrency asset management, while the latter operates the digital asset spot and derivatives exchange Bullish Exchange.
These positions were acquired through multiple funds, including the ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK), ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW), and ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF).
On September 5, these three funds collectively increased their holdings by 387,000 shares of Bitmine Immersion Technologies, valued at approximately $16.27 million, bringing the total investment in BMNR to $283.57 million. On the same day, they also purchased about 144,000 shares of Bullish stock, valued at approximately $7.5 million.
In contrast, Ark Invest reduced its investments in DraftKings (DKNG.US), Teradyne (TER.US), Roku (ROKU.US), Roblox (RBLX.US), and FUTU Holdings (FUTU.US).
The three funds collectively sold over 122,700 shares of DraftKings (DKNG) stock, valued at approximately $5.5 million, as well as about 112,500 shares of Roku (ROKU) stock, valued at approximately $10.7 million.
Additionally, they disposed of approximately 47,000 shares of Teradyne (TER) stock from the ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK), and a total of about 35,000 shares of Roblox stock from the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) and ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF)
