GIC GROUP announced that it will sign a new loan agreement with clients on September 9, 2025, granting a secured loan of HKD 35 million with a term of 12 months. The loan will be used to repay the outstanding principal of the same amount. GIC GROUP primarily provides property mortgage loans and personal loan services in Hong Kong
According to the announcement from GIC GROUP (01669), on September 9, 2025, GIC (as the lender) entered into a new loan agreement with the client (as the borrower), under which GIC agreed to grant a secured loan of HKD 35 million for a term of 12 months.
Prior to the establishment of the new loan agreement, GIC (as the lender) had entered into a previous loan agreement to grant the client a secured loan of HKD 35 million. The entire proceeds from the new loan agreement will be used to fully repay the outstanding principal under the previous loan agreement.
The Group primarily engages in providing property mortgage loans and personal loans in Hong Kong in accordance with the Money Lenders Ordinance. GIC, as the lender of the new and previous loans, is an indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary of the company
