微軟將 Teams 從 Office 套件中分拆出來
The European Commission announced on Friday that it has accepted Microsoft's (MSFT.US) commitments to address concerns raised by the integration of Teams into the Office 365 and Microsoft 365 business suites, thereby avoiding a potential hefty antitrust fine. As a result, the company will offer non-Teams versions at discounted prices, achieve data portability, and ensure interoperability with competing products.
In July 2023, the European Commission launched an investigation into Microsoft for potentially abusing its dominant position in violation of EU competition law. The Commission stated that the latest decision imposes constraints on Microsoft's commitments for seven years or longer, requiring it to cease practices that may hinder competitors from effectively competing with Teams
