From January to August, commodity coal production was 223 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.5%; coal sales volume was 280 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9.2%. Total power generation was 23.39 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%; total electricity sales were 21.97 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%. From January to August, both total power generation and electricity sales decreased by 3.8% year-on-year
