YUEXIU PROPERTY successfully acquired the Kangqiao plot in Gongshu District, Hangzhou, for RMB 1.33 billion through its subsidiary Hangzhou Yuelong. The plot covers approximately 34,165 square meters and is intended for residential development. According to the plan, the site must include a childcare facility, a children's growth center, and a community canteen, which will be handed over to the government free of charge upon completion. This move will enhance YUEXIU PROPERTY's land reserves and strategic position in Hangzhou
According to the announcement from YUEXIU PROPERTY (00123), on September 16, 2025, through Hangzhou Yuelong Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary in which the company holds a 95% stake), it successfully acquired the GS120103-09 plot in the Kangqiao unit of Gongshu District, Hangzhou, through a public listing for RMB 1.33 billion.
The Kangqiao plot in Gongshu District, Hangzhou, covers an area of approximately 34,165 square meters, with a total construction area of about 98,001 square meters, of which the gross floor area is approximately 64,914 square meters. The Kangqiao plot is intended for residential use. The residential properties built on the Kangqiao plot are planned for sale.
According to planning restrictions, the Kangqiao plot must include a childcare facility with a building area of no less than 400 square meters, a community children's growth center with a building area of no less than 400 square meters, and a community canteen with a building area of no less than 350 square meters, which will be handed over to the government-designated department free of charge upon completion.
The Kangqiao plot is located in the central part of the Canal New City, adjacent to the northern new city of Yuhang, approximately 750 meters from the Grand Canal, 4.5 kilometers in a straight line from the Gongshu District Government, and 14.1 kilometers in a straight line from the Municipal Government. The Canal New City area is positioned as a northern urban sub-center that integrates residential living, business offices, trade logistics, tourism and leisure, cultural creativity, and headquarters economy. In terms of surrounding facilities, the plot is about 550 meters from the Ping'anqiao Station of Metro Line 4 and Line 15 (under construction), approximately 600 meters south of Hangzhou Yucai Dazhongbei School, and within a 3-kilometer radius are various high-quality facilities such as the Shao Yifu Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine Grand Canal Branch, commercial centers, and medical centers.
The board of directors believes that the company's acquisition of the Kangqiao plot in Gongshu District, Hangzhou, at a reasonable cost will increase the company's quality land reserves and further consolidate the company's strategic position in Hangzhou
