The second iteration boasts a handful of improvements, like the switch from Hall effect joysticks to more power-efficient tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) ones. 8BitDo also added trigger stops, so you can alternate between a full pull, or a shorter, clickier pull of either trigger. </p>  <p>You may or may not get a ton of mileage out of its additional pair of shoulder buttons, as well as its LED-equipped joystick rings, but they’re there if you want more flexibility.
