According to the Zhitong Finance APP, recently, the China Index Academy released the "Ranking of Real Estate Construction Enterprises in China from January to September 2025." The data shows that from January to September 2025, Greentown Management (09979) ranked first in the construction sales list with a contract sales amount of 70.6 billion yuan. The sales amounts for Blue and Green Dual Cities and Gemdale Management's construction projects were 17.24 billion yuan and 15 billion yuan, ranking second and third, respectively. As more enterprises enter the construction sector, construction projects are entering the sales phase, and the sales scale of construction enterprises is continuously increasing. Currently, most commercial residential properties require construction enterprises for sales, thus the ability to sell and deplete inventory has become an important capability for construction enterprises' project expansion, increasingly gaining attention from these enterprises.
In terms of new scale, from January to September 2025, Greentown Management ranked first with a newly signed scale of 27.9 million square meters, far ahead. CIFI Construction Management and Rundi Management ranked second and third with newly signed areas of 13.01 million square meters and 12.90 million square meters, respectively, maintaining a leading position. Currently, as competition in construction becomes increasingly fierce, on one hand, construction enterprises leverage the resource advantages of their upstream and downstream chains to broaden the boundaries of construction, adopting a "Construction + X" model to increase project acquisition opportunities. On the other hand, some construction enterprises are intervening earlier in the construction process, collaborating with clients to acquire quality land reserves.
From July to September 2025, CIFI Construction Management ranked first with a newly signed construction area of 4.25 million square meters. Gemdale Management and Longhu Longzhizao ranked second and third with new scales of 3.98 million square meters and 3.20 million square meters, respectively.
From January to September 2025, real estate construction enterprises actively laid out government construction projects. According to the rankings, Rundi Management ranked first with a newly expanded area of 8.10 million square meters. CIFI Construction Management and Longhu Longzhizao ranked second and third, with newly signed government construction scales of 5.80 million square meters and 3.41 million square meters, respectively. From January to September 2025, construction enterprises mainly focused on government construction projects such as affordable housing, schools, and sports venues, while some enterprises are also exploring construction opportunities in urban renewal.
