NetApp Adds New Capabilities In NetApp Volumes With Google Cloud
NetApp (NTAP) has enhanced its partnership with Google Cloud to facilitate cloud transformation for customers. New features in NetApp Volumes include improved Data Unification with Block Capabilities, better integration with Gemini Enterprise, and an upgraded Unified Global Namespace. The addition of block capabilities allows for unified storage supporting both NAS and SAN protocols, promising low-latency performance and simplified management of file and block storage.
NetApp (NTAP) has deepened its collaboration with Google Cloud to help customers accelerate cloud transformation. New capabilities in NetApp Volumes include: increased Data Unification with Block Capabilities; strengthened integration with Gemini Enterprise; and enhanced Unified Global Namespace. With the addition of block capabilities to NetApp Volumes, the Flex service level now supports unified storage with both the NAS and SAN protocols.
