Meta Platforms Inc., led by Mark Zuckerberg, is building a new gigawatt (GW) data center in Texas, USA, to advance its artificial intelligence (AI) efforts. The company will invest over $1.5 billion in the new facility, which will have a capacity of 1 gigawatt to power high-performance computing chips for AI-related projects. Meta's capital expenditures this year will reach up to $72 billion, including infrastructure projects related to artificial intelligence
