Taiwan Semiconductor has raised its revenue growth forecast for 2025 to the mid-range of 30%, signaling strong confidence in demand for components such as NVIDIA's artificial intelligence chips. Taiwan Semiconductor also raised the lower limit of its capital expenditure target for this year, with previously announced third-quarter profits exceeding expectations, growing by 39% to NT$452.3 billion. The company has currently reserved at least $40 billion for capacity expansion and upgrades in 2025, higher than the previously set lower limit of $38 billion. This result highlights Taiwan Semiconductor's position as the preferred chip manufacturer for Apple and most of the world's largest semiconductor design companies, making it one of the biggest beneficiaries of the AI infrastructure spending boom, which is expected to exceed $1 trillion in the coming years.
