上交所副总经理苑多然：上交所已联合中证指数公司累计发布 ESG 等可持续发展指数 164 条

The 2025 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference will be held from October 16 to 18 in the Expo Park of Huangpu District, Shanghai. Yuan Duoran, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, attended the 2025 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference and delivered a keynote speech. Yuan Duoran stated that to facilitate investors in easily allocating green assets in the exchange market, we are vigorously developing index-based sustainable investment products. As of the end of September this year, the Shanghai Stock Exchange, in collaboration with China Securities Index Company, has released a total of 164 ESG and other sustainable development indices, including ESG series indices based on the China Securities ESG evaluation system, thematic indices focusing on green energy and new energy vehicles in the green low-carbon industry, carbon neutrality series indices depicting corporate carbon emissions and decarbonization trajectories, as well as bond series indices based on green bonds and the ESG evaluation of bond issuers; covering stocks, bonds, and multiple asset classes, utilizing various investment strategies such as negative screening, positive selection, and multi-factor combinations. There are nearly 100 products tracking relevant indices, with a scale exceeding 80 billion yuan; 46 green ETFs have been listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with a total scale of 51.7 billion yuan; there are over 170 broad-based index products using the China Securities ESG evaluation based on the China Securities A500 and other "A series" indices, as well as the Shanghai Stock Exchange 180 index, with a scale of nearly 300 billion yuan, effectively guiding funds towards sustainable development areas
