ANE received indicative acquisition proposals from a consortium

ANE announced on October 16 that it received a conditional acquisition proposal from a consortium consisting of Dazhang Capital, Temasek, and Danming Capital. If privatization occurs, it may lead to the company's delisting from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Dazhang Capital holds approximately 24.3% of the company's shares, making it the largest institutional shareholder. The announcement stated that there are no other proposals besides this acquisition suggestion, and market rumors are false information. The indicative proposal is still in the preliminary stage, and there is uncertainty about whether it can ultimately be converted into a formal offer. ANE has been suspended since September 18 and resumed trading today
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, on October 16, ANE (09956) announced that it received a conditional acquisition proposal from a consortium consisting of Dazhang Capital, Temasek, and Danming Capital on September 17. If privatization occurs, it may lead to the company's delisting from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The announcement shows that Dazhang Capital currently holds approximately 24.3% of the company's shares. According to previous disclosures by ANE, Dazhang Capital is the company's largest institutional shareholder, having first invested in ANE in 2019.
The announcement pointed out that the company's board of directors has noted several media reports regarding the potential acquisition of the company since September 4, 2025. It stated that there are no other proposals besides this acquisition suggestion. Other market rumors should be considered false information. Market analysts indicated that it is highly unusual for the company to only release the indicative "Takeover Code" 3.7 announcement after being suspended for a month, rather than the more definitive "Takeover Code" 3.5 announcement, suggesting that challenges may have arisen during negotiations.
According to the announcement, the current indicative proposal is still in the preliminary stage, and there remains uncertainty as to whether it can ultimately be converted into a formal offer.
ANE, which has been suspended since September 18, resumed trading this afternoon
