Wang Qi, Deputy Director of the Network Data Administration of the Cyberspace Administration of China, proposed today at the 2025 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference to adhere to the rule of law in governance and guide automotive data processors to implement safety management requirements. It is necessary to implement regulations such as the Cyber Data Security Management Regulations and several provisions on automotive data security management, fully leverage the role of the automotive data security management mechanism, and accelerate the establishment and improvement of a foundational institutional system for automotive data property rights recognition, rights distribution, and interest protection.
