Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Sovereign Wealth Fund, proposed on social media that Elon Musk's Boring Company build a tunnel under the Bering Strait connecting Russia and Alaska, naming it the "Putin-Trump Tunnel," and believes this is a "landmark project" that could signal a possible easing of US-Russia relations. The proposal came after a phone call between Trump and Putin this week, with the two leaders set to meet soon in Budapest, Hungary.
