Amazon's cloud computing service platform experienced a sudden service outage today, affecting Amazon's shopping website, video services, and voice assistant. Companies worldwide using AWS services also encountered service disruptions. According to Reuters, Amazon later stated that the outage may have been caused by DNS resolution issues at its East US Region 1 node and began repairs, with related services gradually starting to recover. It was reported that Amazon AWS provides on-demand computing power, data storage, and other digital services to governments, businesses, and individuals, and its service interruption could lead to the paralysis of websites and platform services that rely on its cloud infrastructure
