According to informed sources, Palantir (PLTR.US) signed a cooperation agreement with Lumen Technologies (LUMN.US) last month worth $200 million. The sources revealed that under the terms of the agreement, Lumen will pay Palantir a total of $200 million over several years. As of the time of publication, Lumen's stock rose over 2% in pre-market trading on Thursday, while Palantir's stock fell more than 1%.
It is reported that Palantir and Lumen announced their partnership in September, bringing Palantir's Foundry and artificial intelligence (AI) platform to Lumen, assisting the latter in transforming from a traditional telecommunications company to a next-generation technology infrastructure company.
