The latest survey report released shows that the silver supply gap remains high
The "Global Mining Development Report 2025" released by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the China Geological Survey on the 24th pointed out that with the restructuring of the global mining industry chain and supply chain, three key factors—technological innovation, global governance, and green sustainability—are injecting new momentum into mining development, accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the global mining industry. The report shows that since 2024, global energy resource production and consumption have continued to grow. Among them, the growth rate of supply and demand for energy minerals has slowed, while the supply and demand for strategic emerging minerals have rapidly increased, resulting in an oversupply. In precious metals, both gold supply and demand have risen, while the supply gap for silver remains high
