
NETEASE MUSIC sues South Korea's SM Entertainment for a second hearing
According to Tianyancha's risk information, recently, Hangzhou NetEase Music Technology Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou LeDu Technology Co., Ltd. have filed a lawsuit against Kas Dream Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. and SM ENTERTAINMENT CO., Ltd. for abusing market dominance. The case will be heard on November 4th at the Hangzhou Intermediate People's Court in Zhejiang Province. Previously, the case was heard on August 6th. According to media reports, in January of this year, NetEase Music issued a letter to Korean SM fans, informing them that due to the copyright holder's unilateral notice of non-renewal, on January 31st, NetEase Music would likely have to remove all song content under Korean SM Entertainment. NetEase stated that they would strive for copyright renewal and would inform users of any further news as soon as possible
