Xiamen Airlines receives its first Airbus A320neo aircraft

On October 29th, Xiamen Airlines Co., Ltd. received its first Airbus A320neo aircraft in Toulouse, France, becoming the latest customer to operate this single-aisle aircraft. The Airbus A320neo is powered by CFM International's Leap-1A engines and features a single-class cabin layout with 180 seats. Founded in 1984, Xiamen Airlines is headquartered in Xiamen, Fujian Province, located on the southeast coast of China. The airline operates over 400 domestic and international routes, with an annual passenger transport volume exceeding 43 million. As of the end of September 2025, Xiamen Airlines operates 17 Airbus A321neo aircraft. The Airbus A320neo family of aircraft is a globally popular single-aisle aircraft, having received orders for 11,256 units from over 140 customers.
