Amazon expands low-cost e-commerce services to new markets such as Hong Kong and Taiwan
Amazon (AMZN.US) announced on Friday that its low-cost e-commerce service has been renamed Amazon Bazaar and will be expanded to 14 new markets, including Hong Kong, the Philippines, Nigeria, and Taiwan.
This new application from Amazon is similar to the budget shopping version Amazon Haul launched last year. Amazon Bazaar will offer most products priced under $10, with some items even as low as $2, covering a variety of categories such as home goods and fashion apparel
