
UBS China’s Liao Qihua: Forecast for China's electricity demand growth raised from 4% to over 8%
At the UBS China Energy Transition special sharing session held on November 12, Liao Qihua, Head of Energy Transition and New Energy Industry Research for Greater China at UBS Investment Bank, stated that they will be more optimistic about the Chinese power market, expecting electricity demand to grow by 8%-9% from 2028 to 2030, significantly raising the previous forecast of 4%.
