On November 24th, Xiaomi Corporation announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that Xiaomi Corporation's founder, chairman, and CEO Lei Jun personally invested over HKD 100 million to increase his stake in Xiaomi Corporation by 2.6 million shares, at an average price of approximately HKD 38.58 per share, raising his ownership percentage to 23.26%. This month, Xiaomi Corporation has repurchased a total of 21.5 million shares of the company on the 20th and 21st, with a total expenditure exceeding HKD 800 million.

In the market, as of the close of trading on November 24th, Xiaomi Corporation's stock rose by 1.52%. Over the past two months, the company's stock price has cumulatively fallen by more than 34%.

Xiaomi Corporation's adjusted net profit in the third quarter increased by 80.9% year-on-year

On November 18th, Xiaomi Corporation released its third-quarter performance announcement. The single-quarter revenue was CNY 113.1 billion, a year-on-year increase of 22.3%, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of exceeding CNY 100 billion; the adjusted net profit was CNY 11.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 80.9%, setting a new historical high.

In the first three quarters of 2025, the operating revenue was CNY 340.37 billion, a year-on-year increase of 32.5%; the adjusted net profit was CNY 32.817 billion, a year-on-year increase of 73.5%.

The revenue from the smart electric vehicle and AI innovation business segment was CNY 29 billion, a year-on-year increase of over 199%. Among them, the revenue from smart electric vehicles was CNY 28.3 billion, and for the first time, the smart electric vehicle and AI innovation business segment achieved positive operating income in a single quarter, realizing an operating income of CNY 700 million in a single quarter. In the third quarter of 2025, a total of 108,800 new cars were delivered, setting a new historical high.

Lei Jun previously posted multiple Weibo updates

On November 16th, Lei Jun posted multiple updates on Weibo, reiterating Xiaomi's automotive safety design philosophy. He stated that during an interview in April last year, when discussing product definition, he said, "A car, looks good is the first priority," does this contradict "safety is fundamental, safety is a prerequisite"? In this interview, I mentioned that the wheel hub is the most difficult to design. What's the problem with that?

On Weibo, he attached screenshots of four Weibo posts he made in 2023 and 2024, stating, "This is the Weibo post I made before the release of Xiaomi SU7, where I talked about my understanding of safety and the R&D standards for SU7."

In previous posts, Lei Jun has repeatedly emphasized "Safety above all."
