Xiaomi (01810.HK) delivered over 40,000 electric vehicles in November. Citigroup released a report indicating that investors' expectations for actual shipment volumes may range from 48,000 to 50,000 vehicles. Combining the electric vehicle shipment data from Yiche from January to October, it is estimated that Xiaomi's cumulative electric vehicle deliveries this year may exceed 355,000 units, which is 89% of its latest annual delivery target of 400,000 units. Based on the current delivery pace of over 10,000 vehicles per week or nearly 50,000 vehicles per month, the annual shipment volume is likely to reach the target of 400,000 vehicles.
The firm currently gives Xiaomi a "Buy" rating and a target price of 50 yuan, which is valued comprehensively, estimating Xiaomi's electric vehicle business at a price-to-sales ratio of 1.5 times, believing that short-term catalysts include the acceleration of electric vehicle deliveries and orders, as well as updates to new electric vehicle versions
