According to sources cited by Reuters, Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD.US) has received a second round of bids, including a nearly all-cash acquisition proposal from Netflix (NFLX.US), with the bidding expected to conclude in the coming days or weeks.
It is reported that Paramount Skydance (PSKY.US), Comcast (CMCSA.US), and Netflix modified their proposals for the acquisition of all or part of Warner Bros. over the past weekend. These offers are binding, and if terms can be reached, the board can quickly approve the transaction.
Earlier reports indicated that the Warner Bros. board rejected Paramount's cash acquisition offer of nearly $24 per share, valuing the company at $60 billion
